Simulate and calculate your Italian local property taxes (IMU and TASI) instantly. Italian property tax is calculated based on the revalued cadastral yield (rendita catastale +5%) times specific coefficients depending on properties cathedrals. CalcTracker provides this free online calculator for instant, precise, and detailed computations without requiring any sign-up or software installation. All calculations run locally in your browser to guarantee complete user privacy and 100% offline accessibility.
IMU Formula
The cadastral rent is revalued by 5%, then multiplied by the category modifier (e.g. 160 for homes A/1-A/9) and the municipal tax rate.
Example
- Property A/2 with Cadastral Rent of €500. Tax base is €500 * 1.05 * 160 = €84,000. Applying a 1.06% rate results in €890.40 annual tax.
⚠ Note
- Primary residences (Abitazione principale) are exempt unless they are luxury categories (A/1, A/8, A/9).
