How it works
Enter a start date and an end date. The calculator counts calendar days between them, respecting month lengths and leap years. You can exclude the end date for a pure gap or include it when the final day belongs in the total, like a rental ending on the 31st. Switch to business days to skip weekends. The view also shows weeks with remainder days and hours by multiplying days by 24. Dates are treated as midnight in local time, so daylight saving shifts do not change the day total.
The math
Each date becomes a day count, then subtracted. One day is 86,400,000 milliseconds. Inclusive adds one. Business days drop weekends. Leap years add Feb 29.
